Responsible protection of our performers: If your show is a large function (namely a football or sporting club) that sells or allows alcohol, please respect our efforts to create a safe environment for each of our performers. The best way for us to do this is by giving them the right to pull the show at any time if at any stage they feel unsafe, uncomfortable or verbally abused. But most likely, someone is bound to through a cold sausage roll or texta once that one table of drunken 21 year olds starts throwing s*it at each other.
Our safest way to avoid this happening is to always make sure we have a point of contact (ie Club President or bar keep) who is not involved in running the night. That way you the booker, can relax, have fun, and not worry about a table full of idiots ruining the night for everyone else. If in any case we see the signs of this happening, we can notify this person and they can then issue the appropriate warnings and make sure our team can go about doing what we do best.
Crowd control is not one of those things.
