You know that awesome feeling of having tickets to a concert? It’s easy to give your punters the same loin-pumping joy by creating ticketing to your event… and it doesn’t have to cost you a cent.
We’ve broken it down for you below to make it easy:
First up, we recommend TryBooking.com, which offers an online ticketing option. Just register, whack together email invite from our promo section and send it out your address book.
Why does it rock?
You can keep an eye on numbers, enable donations and put all event info in one location. The ticket buyer pays about 30cents per transaction, which isn’t going to send anyone broke. The total you make in sales is collectable via EFT after the conclusion of your event.
A minor issue we’ve experienced is buying tickets from a smartphone can be tricky. A pretty similar service is offered by Eventbrite, but this has it’s own app and it looks slicker than my mates hotted up ’68 Mustang.
If you’re hosting Bogan Bingo to raise coin for a good cause, check out Brown Paper Tickets. They charge around $1 per ticket plus a small percentage of the face price, but give a portion of their profits to some great causes.
Whatever you choose, be sure to read over the fees, terms and conditions.
Lastly, if you’re looking to cast the widest net possible in raising cash for your cause, why not add your event to Everyday Hero?
It’s the greatest invention since Pancake Shake and makes it possible for people to donate funds without even coming along! Or they can but tickets to come along. So have a look at the link here to see someone’s Bogan Bingo event and don’t be put off by how professional it looks. Anyone can do it and its easy format will have you looking like an event planner in no time.
